Select From Our Variety of Braces
If you've made the decision of getting braces as a part of your orthodontic treatment, Dr. Collins will guide you with the selection process. Based on your budget and the ideal fit for your look, you can choose from our clear aligners, metal, and ceramic or esthetic braces.
Metal braces are the most reliable and durable option. Brackets today are smaller with a lower profile, so they're more comfortable. Kids love choosing their colors at each appointment based on team colors, seasons and holidays, or just their favorites.
The elastic ties or 'colors' are decorative for patients and functional for treatment as they hold the archwires into your braces.

Learn More About Ceramic Braces and Clear Aligners
Ceramic or esthetic braces
They are more expensive and more fragile or more likely to fracture / break. They can also extend the treatment time in some cases. Since the elastics are clear, they discolor over time and become more noticeable.
Clear aligners
Clear aligners are the most aesthetic option. However, they cannot be used effectively as a substitute for problems that require braces. Dr. Collins uses aligners most frequently for adults with minor problems or cases of relapse due to lack of retainer wear following treatment.
